Officers of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations (OFO) at the Port of New York/Newark inspect a shipment of hair pieces and accessories from China, part of which is suspected to have been made with forced or prison labor in violation of U.S. Law. A sample of the suspected hair accessories suspected of being made with forced or prison labor in violation of U.S. Law. These items will be detained and samples sent to CBP’s Office of Trade and the Office of Field Operations Consumer Products and Mass Merchandise Center for further review and analysis to ensure compliance with U.S. trade laws and regulations.
