Senior Airman Nicolas Pages, 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron aircraft structural maintenance journeyman, puts on a gas mask before painting an F-16C Fighting Falcon June 22, 2020, at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. Throughout the entire process of painting an aircraft, ASM personnel wear protective equipment to comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Air Force guidelines. For the first time at Luke, AMS Airmen painted an F-16 one solid medium-gray color versus the traditional dark gray on top and light on bottom in an action that will save the Air Force time and money.
