    200709-N-QV265-1053 YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 09, 2020) - Culinary Specialist 2nd Class Brandon McCary, from Columbia, South Carolina and Machinist Mate Fireman Thomas Varner, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, mix a bleach cleaning solution while preparing to conduct cleaning stations aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Cleaning stations is conducted twice daily to ensure the ship is disinfected, cleaned and maintained, helping to mitigate the chance of crew illness. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
