CAMP ZAMA, Japan – Maj. Gen. Hisanori Myamoto, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Air Defense School commandant, present Col. Patrick M. Costello, outgoing 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade commander, with a plaque as the two leaders exchange appreciation tokens for their time serving as bilateral partners since the brigade’s historic reactivation. The 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade bid farewell to their command team and welcomed a new one during a change of command and relinquishment of responsibility ceremony here July 10.
