YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 15, 2020) – Culinary Specialist Petty Officer 2nd Class Justinne Ivanitskiy, assigned to the Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Commodore Matthew C. Perry General Mess, or "Jewel of the East" galley, serves a meal to a Sailor. For 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
