An endangered green sea turtle was found entangled in a heavy ball of fishing debris in the harbor a Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport’s Atlantic Underwater Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC), a deep-water range located on Andros Island in the Bahamas, on July 13 Mike Beres and Greg Johnson, members of the AUTEC Fire and Emergency Services Water Rescue Team, located the endangered turtle and cut away the deadly ball of debris.
