The control panel on the T-1A Jayhawk can be intimidating to students when they first fly in the aircraft, but the 86th Flying Training Squadron, assisted by the 96th FTS, has instructor pilots from all walks of life and different experiences to teach the students all they need to know about the aircraft. The Air Force goes beyond teaching students how to fly; they train for handling emergencies and on how to become mission commanders. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Anne McCready)
