SAN DIEGO (July 15, 2020) Hospitalman Garth Baxter (right), a laboratory technician assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), trains Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Alex Soto how to operate a clinical chemistry analyzer in the hospital's laboratory July 15. NMCSD’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research.
