DAHLGREN, Va. - Dr. Rose Hayden (left) works with Hannah Swirzinski (right), an intern from Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach in 2018. Swirzinski is one of the many interns Hayden has worked with during her time at NSWCDD. “My greatest satisfaction is to see young people that I have mentored succeed at work,” said Hayden. Hayden is the recipient of the NSWCDD Employee Development Award and is one of 90 individuals and 39 teams to be honored in a special video awards ceremony, to be released on the command’s YouTube page later this month.
