200721-N-OW019-0030 INDIAN OCEAN (July 21, 2020) Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Kristopher Owens, from Long Beach, Calif., assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59), monitors an Indian Navy helicopter as it sits on the ship’s flight deck. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, consisting of flagship USS Nimitz (CVN 68), Princeton, and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Sterett (DDG 104) and USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114), along with the Indian Navy ships Rana, Sahyadri, Shivalik and Kamorta, are currently participating in a cooperative deployment in the Indian Ocean.
