Spc. Kyler McGuire, a U.S. Army paratrooper assigned to 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade fires a crew-served weapon alongside paratroopers assigned to 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment during a live-fire exercise in Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, July 21, 2020 in preparation for Exercise Saber Junction 20 which will be taking place next month.
The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States Europe, Africa and Central Command areas of responsibility. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
