200727-N-FP334-1053 ARABIAN SEA (July 27, 2020) Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Jordan Jibson, from Wilmington, Ohio, assigned to the "Battlecats" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 73, scrubs the tail rotors of an MH-60R Seahawk helicopter on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114). Ralph Johnson is part of Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three critical chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
