Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Aycock, the 254th Transportation Battalion command sergeant major, pins Air Assault wings on Sgt. Julio Diaz, a Soldier assigned to the 356th Quartermaster Company, during the Air Assault’s course final formation. Eight Soldiers assigned to the 50th Regional Support Group (RSG) completed the Army’s Air Assault course held at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. Soldiers with the 50th RSG have been supporting the state’s COVID-19 response in several capacities, including working at Community Based Testing Sites, since March.
