Sgt. 1st Class David Everage interacts with local children during a Medical Civic Action Program (MEDCAP) in the town of Santa Rita, Honduras. Everage, a native of Pensacola, Fla., serves as the non-commissioned officer in charge for the Civil Affairs team currently on a one-year deployment to Honduras. The Civil Affairs soldiers supported the Honduran government during the MEDCAP were medical service were provided to more than 8,300 citizens living in the small town.
