United States Marine Corps Col. Ivan I. Monclova, former commanding officer of 1st Marine Corps District, relinquishes command to Col. Phillip N. Ash, July 24, 2020, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Park, Garden City, NY. Monclova served as commanding officer of 1st Marine Corps District for three years and will retire a 26-year career in the Marine Corps. Col.
