WASHINGTON D.C. (July 28, 2020) - United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Acting Administrator John Barsa meets with Australian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Frances Adamson to discuss and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). A Memorandum of Understanding is a signed non-obligating and legally non-binding document that describes the intentions, roles and responsibilities of USAID and other actors who decide to work together to address a shared development challenge. USAID is striving to provide humanitarian assistance to those in need, while also working to achieve greater development outcomes, and assist communities on their journey to self-reliance.
