PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 03, 2020) Gunner's Mate 1st Class Martin Vazquez, from Prescott, Ariz. assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 3, fires .50-caliber machine gun while aboard a Mark VI patrol boat during a live-fire exercise off the coast of Guam. CRS 3 is assigned to Coastal Riverine Group 1, Detachment Guam and is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. Further, it provides additional capabilities of port security, embarked security, and theater security cooperation around the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
