On August 05, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Camp Lejeune/Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune honored the 73rd birthday of the Medical Service Corps (MSC) with a cake-cutting ceremony. The MSC is comprised of approximately 3,000 Navy officers who serve as health care scientists, clinicians, and administrators. The Medical Service Corps has active duty and reserve officers serving in various operational units, training and research commands, occupational and preventive medicine units, material and logistic support commands and headquarter commands.
