U.S. Navy aviation boatswain's mates aboard aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) manage a biofuel transfer during a replenishment at sea with Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187) July 17, 2012, in the Pacific Ocean during the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2012 exercise. Nimitz took on 200,000 gallons of biofuel in preparation for the Great Green Fleet demonstration. RIMPAC is a U.S. Pacific Command-hosted biennial multinational maritime exercise designed to foster and sustain international cooperation on the security on the world?s oceans.
