Joe Copeland, the chief of facilities and construction with the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineers, explains the details of multiple construction efforts to Gen. James C. McConville, the chief of staff of the Army during a 5 August visit to the 1st Cavalry Division’s (Forward) headquarters in Poznan, Poland. Poznan is the site of the division forward element of Atlantic Resolve, a mission that provides the Army’s rotational units in Europe the opportunity to build readiness, increase interoperability, and enhance the bonds with allied partners and nations through multi-national training events.
