A Boeing 747 cargo plane arrives at Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia, Aug. 12, 2020. The cargo consisted of aircraft and maintenance equipment to support ta Bomber Task Force deployment. More than 200 members and three B-2 Spirit Stealth Bombers deployed to NSF Diego Garcia as part of a Bomber Task Force. BTF deployments test the readiness of the Airmen and equipment, as well as their collective ability to operate at forward locations. U.S. Strategic Command routinely conducts such operations across the globe to demonstrate U.S. commitment to collective defense as these aircraft, Airmen and key support equipment integrate with U.S. Indo-Pacific Command operations and activities.
