Soldiers from the 42nd Regional Support Group, New Jersey National Guard, conduct a combat patch ceremony at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, August 15, 2020. The ceremony was led by U.S. Army Col. Robert M. Martinez, commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. John R. Hicks, senior non-commissioned officer, and signified the Soldiers have deployed to a combat zone in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
