A U.S. Air Force HH-60 Pavehawk flies over the island of Okinawa returning to Kadena Air Base Japan, Aug. 6, 2020 after a joint combat search and rescue exercise with U.S. Marine Corps Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, 12th Marine Regiment, Marine Air Control Squadron 4, and Marine Aircraft Group 36. The primary mission of the HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter is to conduct day or night personnel recovery operations to hostile environments to recover isolated personnel during war.
