Command Sgt. Maj. Sean P. Carney, retired senior enlisted leader for the Illinois Army National Guard, is awarded the Silver Medal of the Polish Army by Maj. Gen. Cezary Wisniewski, Defense Attaché of the Republic of Poland, Aug. 16, 2020.
Carney was awarded the medal for his efforts to aligned values the enlisted corps of the Polish Army with that of the US Army.
