A portrait of U.S. Army 1st Lt. Weston Lee previously hung in the fieldhouse at Camp Taji, Iraq in honor of his sacrifice when he was killed in action in 2017. As the base undergoes transfer to the Iraqi forces, Lee’s portrait was among the memorials that were secured or sanitized before U.S. forces leave the base. (U.S. Army photo by Chaplain (Capt.) Joel Reynolds, 168th Military Police Battalion, Tennessee Army National Guard, Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve)
