U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Patrick Corbin, 393rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron communications support team, Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, and Senior Airman Brandon Kester, 374th Communication Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan, set up a statelite link to U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command’s first mobile operations center during a deployment to Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia, August 20, 2020. Air Force Global Strike Command’s development of the mobile operations center is based on the National Defense Strategy’s objective to build lethality, strengthen alliances and streamline processes. Once implemented across AFGSC, the mobile operations center will allow commanders across the world to employ bomber forces to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific and ability of AFGSC to deliver lethal, ready, long-range strike options anytime, anywhere.
