Devin Harris, Sierra Army Depot firefighter, helps create a break in the forestry in order to help prevent further spread of a wildfire near Susanville, Calif., mid-August 2020. Harris is one of several firefighters assigned to the Sierra Army Depot Fire & Emergency Services Division that are assisting local fire departments in battling wildland fires throughout northern California. Sierra Army Depot - a U.S. Army facility dedicated to delivering materiel readiness, is located approximately 30 miles south of Susanville.
