Rich Gelin, a Tech II for Cubic Defense Applications Incorperated, refits a computer storage disk into a pod for attaching to an aircraft that will take part in Operation Northern Strike at Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center and Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center. The Cubic information systems at Alpena provide training for pilots that include air to air and air to ground threat emitters. The systems at Alpena are state of the art and can be adapted to provide endless scenarios possibilities to unit commanders.
