NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (August 29, 2020) Visitors from U.S. Special Operations Command Europe and U.S. Special Operations Command Africa board a CV-22 Osprey, assigned to 352d Special Operations Support Squadron, at Naval Support Activity Souda Bay on August 29, 2020. The visitors were enroute to the Expeditionary Sea Base USS Hershel “Woody” Williams (ESB 4). The visit also included windshield tours of NSA Souda Bay facilities and the Marathi NATO Pier Complex. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
