    Sgt. 1st Class Moore Steven with 1023rd Vertical Engineer Company, 528th Engineer Battalion, 225th Engineer Brigade, cuts through a fallen tree to assist with clearing roadways in Winnfield, La., during the recovery efforts from Hurricane Laura, Sept. 4, 2020. Engineer work teams have cleared 1,690 miles of roadway from the path of Hurricane Laura. Laura made landfall in Lake Charles, La. on Aug. 27 which is approximately 140 miles away from Winnfield.
