Sgt. Adam Long follows Sgt. 1st Class Alphonso Meriweather, both chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear specialists with the 52nd Civil Support Team out of Columbus, Ohio, into the hospital at Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex on July 27. The team enters the building to conduct CBRN reconnaissance training, while evaluating and evacuating personnel. This training is part of Vibrant Response 13, a major field training exercise conducted by U.S. Northern Command and led by U.S. Army North. More than 5,000 service members and civilians will participate in this training with the focus on lifesaving and life-sustaining operations in the aftermath of a domestic CBRN incident.
