A Chemical Burn Enhanced Response Force Package soldier escorts an actor playing a distraught victim of a natural disaster, July 25, at Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center. Soldiers and airmen participated in a weeklong training event to prepare to aid other first responders in a large-scale emergency. Some actors really embraced their roles, screaming, shouting for missing loved ones and contorting their faces into a grimace of pain. The life-like, or at least bad horror movie-like wounds, including gashes dripping with fake blood, helped actors and responders alike put themselves into the scene.
