220908-N-IE405-2256 GULF OF AQABA (Sep. 8, 2020) Members of the Royal Jordanian Navy and U.S. Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia Maritime Engagement Team conduct a visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) engagement with a MH-60R Sikorsky Seahawk helicopter, with the “Vipers” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 48, attached to Commander, Task Force 52, in the Gulf of Aqaba during Exercise Infinite Defender 20, Sept. 8. ID 20 is a bilateral maritime infrastructure protection (MIP), explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), and anti-terrorism force protection (ATFP) exercise between the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) and U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT).
