200922-N-DJ838-1031 SANTA RITA, Guam (Sept. 22, 2020) Seabees assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3’s Detail Guam and NMCB-133 prepare to a convoy of three 50-ton dump trucks and one 8,000-gallon water tanker from the Port of Guam to Naval Base Guam (NBG). The equipment arrived in Guam to support future operations at the Orote quarry on NBG. NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection. The battalion stands ready to complete assigned tasking, support Humanitarian Aid/Disaster Relief and Major Combat Operations throughout the area of responsibility.
