Capt. Hans Stephensen of the Kansas Training Center, Kansas Army National Guard, represented the Kansas National Guard marathon team as he gave it his all at the Omaha Marathon in Omaha, Nebraska, Sept. 20th, 2020. At the end of the marathon, only 70 guard members out of the 110 that participated went on to represent the All Guard Marathon Team for the 2021 season. “Not only is this a serious event, with serious competition, but it is a privilege and honor to be able to represent Kansas against these other athletes,” said Stephensen.
