DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Sept. 25, 2020) – Sailors aboard the Ohio-class, guided-missile submarine USS Georgia (SSGN 729) secure fire hose to supply water for cooling systems onboard U.S. Navy Support Facility Diego Garcia Sept. 25, 2020. Georgia arrived in Diego Garcia to conduct a crew swap. NSF Diego Garcia provides logistic, service, recreational and administrative support to U.S. and allied forces forward deployed to the Indian Ocean and Arabian Gulf.
