U.S. Marines with Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team-Pacific (FASTPAC) concludes Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques (HRST) with U.S. Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 12 on the Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji Airfield September 16, 2020. The training is conducted in order for Marines to rapidly insert into a battlespace without landing an aircraft. FASTPAC is an anti-terrorism force based out of Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka dedicated to rapidly responding to crisis in the Indo-Pacific to include naval security operations, and to safeguard U.S. government assets under threat.
