A U.S. Marine Corps radio operator with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command grounds a field expedient antenna, attached to an AN/TRC-209 High Frequency radio, during long range HF radio training in Kuwait Oct. 7, 2020. The purpose of the training was to sustain long range communication capabilities and rehearse alternative expeditionary communication methods.
