Army Reserve combat medic Duncan Crow at the Veterans Memorial Park in McAllen, Texas Sept. 8, 2020, during a ceremony that advanced him from the rank of private first class to the rank of specialist. Crow, from Semmes, Alabama, was mobilized in July with an Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force to support DHR Health in Edinburg, Texas as part of the Department of Defense assistance to the Federal Emergency Management Agency response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
