Despite the heat and rainy weather, Minnesota National Guard soldiers and airmen from the CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package conducted an exercise at Volk Field, Wis., July 25. The team is designed to assist the incident command by deploying approximately 200 trained service members within six hours of notification, to a natural or man made disaster site. During the training many distinguished visitors came to observe the exercise, to include: Maj. Gen. David J. Elicerio, 34th Infantry Division Commander and Sgt. Maj. Bryan B. Battaglia, senior enlisted adviser to the Chairman, Joint Chief of Staff were a couple of the guest to visit the site.
