Sgt. Sean Haley stands at attention during a 21st Special Troops Battalion Noncommissioned Officer Induction Ceremony, Oct. 7, 2020 on Kleber Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany. The tradition of an Induction ceremony is a passage used by senior NCOs to convey to newly promoted Sergeant’s the special pride, and sense of esteem felt when a young soldier enters the NCO Corps. This ceremony gives them their first experience of the pride and respect that goes along with being a member of the NCO Corps. The 21st STB inducted 12 new NCO's during the ceremony (U.S. Army Photo by Elisabeth Paqué)
