Maj. Gen. Xavier T. Brunson, the 7th Infantry Division Commanding General, presents Pfc. Lorenzo Alonso, an automated logistical specialist and member of Team Lancer, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, the Army Commendation Medal for winning the inaugural 7ID Sustainers of the Year competition at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Oct. 8, 2020. The event was the first iteration of a newly created competition designed to test logistics Soldiers physically, mentally, and professionally.
