Four non-commissioned officers and four junior enlisted Soldiers await the results during an award ceremony Oct. 8 after competing in Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Soldier of the Year Competition Oct. 2 - 8. The week-long event was administered and scored by NCOs. It incorporated warrior tasks and battle drills and tactical combat casualty care which tested each competitors ability to save lives on the battlefield.
