Command Sgt. Maj. Benjamin C. Lemon Jr., the senior enlisted advisor for United States Army Garrison Humphreys and native of Gary, Indiana, speaks about the importance of family responsibility and the safety of our children at a ceremony on Oct. 8, formally proclaiming the recognition of the Red Ribbon Week campaign at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. The first Red Ribbon Week was established in 1988 by the National Family Partnership with President Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan serving as chairpersons for the campaign. The formal recognition here demonstrates USAG Humphreys’ continued commitment to family health, safety and knowledge of drug awareness. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Matthew Marcellus)
