Staff members at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum conduct a walk through of their gallery to receive an orientation to enhanced health measures in preparation for their planned re-opening to the public on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. The museum’s gallery, located on the second floor of the Nauticus campus in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia has been closed since March 2020 as a response COVID-19. Enhanced safety measures in their gallery include hand sanitizing stations, signage reminding visitors about social distancing requirements, increased cleaning by staff, mandatory face mask requirements for visitors, and reduced gallery capacity among other measures.
