ADELPHI, Md. – Maryland Army National Guard members assigned to the 291st Digital Liaison Detachment fire an M16 rifle using the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000, an indoor weapon simulator, on Camp Fretterd Military Reservation, October 18, 2020. The EST provides detailed feedback to the soldiers that covers the fundamentals of marksmanship, fire control and distribution of fires. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, MDARNG soldiers are part of an operational force that must continue to train and remain always ready to serve our communities or fight America’s wars.
