Soldiers with the 1st Brigade Combat Team (Bastogne), 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), with the assistance of civilian experts mount and sight-in their TOW Improved Target Acquisition Systems (ITAS) to their Humvee’s at the Intermediate Staging Base in Alexandria, La. The TOW ITAS increases target recognition, provides long-range anti-armor/precision assault fire capabilities, enhancing the Bastogne Infantry’s effectiveness on the battlefield.
