The sun sets behind the palms of Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, Oct. 22, 2020. This sunset is almost exactly two years after Hurricane Michael ravaged the base causing $5 billion in damages. Since then, the base has been busily rebuilding and coming together to the point where they are hosting Agile Flag 21-1, which is the first time the Air Force has tested a Wing to drop in a location and take command and control of the airspace. As Tyndall continues to regains its shape, the future of the entire Air Force will likely take shape from the lessons learned here. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Andrew Kobialka)
