200805-M-UY835-2074 PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 5, 2020) - A U.S. Sailor assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) instructs a U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II pilot with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, taxi onto the flight deck of Makin Island while underway in the eastern Pacific.
