U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Christopher Danze, right, a supply sergeant with the 42nd Regional Support Group, New Jersey National Guard, sprints through the finish line of the Norwegian Foot March held at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Oct. 25, 2020. More than 300 U.S. and coalition forces participated in the foot march which was hosted by Task Force Vikings. The march required participants to march 18.6 miles while carrying a 25-pounds ruck sack and a service weapon within 4.5 hours. Participants who completed the event within the allotted time earned the Norwegian Foot March badge. This badge is an approved foreign award and may be worn on the Army Service Uniform.
